Network of International Development Organizations in Scotland (NIDOS)
NIDOS is a network of Scottish-based international development NGOs (non-governmental organizations), which promotes the exchange of experience, ideas and information and provides a structure for the pooling of resources and more effective working on international development issues.
NIDOS through its work aims:
- To actively contribute to international development by encouraging communication and resource sharing among organizations which work to eliminate inequality, poverty and discrimination in the developing world;
- To challenge and campaign against discrimination and exclusion in the developing world;
- To educate the public about international development issues;
- To build the strength and capacity of the international development sector in Scotland.
