Goals:

1. To provide humanitarian assistance to people in need, regardless of religion, race, gender, nationality, age, disabilities.

2. To provide aid with full respect to culture and custom of the beneficiaries, while building on local capacities and involving program beneficiaries in the process.

3. To increase awareness among the Israeli public regarding the needs of people in distress around the world to expand the scope of volunteers and donations for this purpose.

4. To nurture and strengthen the independence, reliability and unique approach of each member organization in the forum in a non-political manner.

5. To encourage and facilitate cooperation between member organizations in field activities on the basis of need.

6. To facilitate cooperation between member organizations, in developing resources and public support by utilizing their unique capacities.

7. To serve as a professional venue for members of the Forum for information and knowledge sharing and professional training in aspects of international humanitarian aid.

8. To develop high ethical standards of activity in order to provide the greatest benefit to those in need of humanitarian assistance.
