AIDS Education in Schools Around Israel

World wide reputation in innovative work in school-based HIV/AIDS education programs: curriculum development, implementation, training and evaluation.

Cross-cultural adaptation

More than 600,000 pupils have been taught to date by the modules developed by The Jerusalem AIDS Project, based on the ISYAP approach. The school curricula were translated and culturally adapted for use in: English, Russian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic and Hebrew.

Non-conventional methods

Small groups discussions, role plays, story telling are all part of our non-conventional methods in AIDS education, designed to meet local needs, and based on best practice.

Up to date with prevention

JAIP experts are up to date with relevant prevention strategies, immediately implemented in relevant workshops and seminars. Female condom is just one example.
